Whence the Sun of Righteousness hath arisen

SAVE us, O Son of God, who art wonderful in thy saints.

THY nativity, O Mother of God, proclaimed joy to the known world; for from thee hath arisen the Sun of Righteousness, Christ our God; and when he had loosed the curse, he gave blessing; and when he had made death of no effect, he made a gift unto us of everlasting life.

At the Little Entrance in the Divine Liturgy, on the Feast of the Nativity of the Mother of God (September 8)

MINDFUL of Mary, our all holy, immaculate, more than blessed, glorious Lady and Mother of God, with all the saints, let us commend ourselves and one another, and all our life, to Christ our God.
