Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his praises

From today’s Gospel reading (John 3:16-21).

GOD so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

**

From today’s Epistle (Acts 4:1-10), the healing of the man lame from birth.

BE it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him this man is standing before you well.

**

BLESS the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his praises: who forgives all thy transgressions, who heals all thy diseases; who redeems thy life from corruption; who crowns thee with mercy and compassion; who satisfies thy desire with good things: so that thy youth shall be renewed like that of the eagle.

Psalm 102(103):1-5.
